Padme's Dressing Gown

Inspired by the very comfy looking *^.^* fluffy dressing gown worn by Padme in Star Wars Episode III, I made a one-of-a-kind miniature version for my Tonner Tyler 40cm doll. The dark navy blue fur dressing gown is embellished with bright chenille trim onto which I have embroidered lots of bullion knots in vibrant colours. I hand beaded the tassels and crystal rectangles at the top and bottom of each sleeve, and the tassels at the front opening.  The nightdress underneath is of purple lace fabric lined with a pale silky material.  It is belted with a burgundy velvet cord and gorgeous lilac crystal droplet.  The headdress is made of jewellery wire which I fashioned into an arched fan shape, over which I stitched metallic silver ribbon.
