Barbie ~ My Scene and beyond

After years of working in an office, I felt the need to start being creative again. My Scene Barbie and her friends Madison and Chelsea had just been released and I thought they were the best dolls I had seen in a long while! They were so beautifully unusual, with a touch of attitude, and with gorgeous faces.  So I bought a complete set(!) and began designing and creating for them.

I have always been drawn to the Tudor era, and I always have a sense of deja vu whenever I visit historic places such as Hever or Arundel Castles... as if a previous life is mystically calling me.. So in the 'here and now', I set about making tudor costumes for my My Scene girls.  Here are a few of my outfits..
